By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms, conditions, and policies stated below.

1. Nature of Service

Braid with Me is a platform that connects clients with independent braiders (service providers).

We do not directly provide hair services. All services are performed by independent contractors.

2. Independent Contractor Disclaimer

All braiders ("service providers") listed on or booked through Braid with Me are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of Braid with Me.

  • Braid with Me does not control, supervise, or guarantee the services provided
  • Each braider is solely responsible for their work, conduct, and service quality
  • Any service agreement is strictly between the client and the braider

3. Liability Disclaimer

Braid with Me shall not be held liable for:

  • Injuries, allergic reactions, or accidents during or after service
  • Hair or scalp damage
  • Dissatisfaction with results
  • Any disputes between the client and the braider
  • Any loss, damage, or inconvenience before, during, or after the appointment

All risks are assumed by the client and the braider.

In case of any issue:

  • The client and braider must resolve the matter directly
  • Braid with Me may assist in mediation but is not responsible for outcomes

4. Service Complaints & Dispute Resolution

  • Complaints may be submitted to Braid with Me within a reasonable timeframe
  • We may assist in resolving disputes between the client and the braider
  • Final outcomes are not guaranteed and depend on each situation

5. Deposits & Payment Policy

A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings.

  • The remaining 80% balance must be paid directly to the braider after the service is completed
  • Accepted payment methods for the remaining balance include:
    • Zelle
    • CashApp
    • Cash

By booking, you agree to complete the remaining payment after your service.

6. All Sales Are Final (Refund Policy)

All payments, including deposits, are final and non-refundable.

  • No refunds will be issued under any circumstances
  • No refunds for completed services, missed appointments, or dissatisfaction

7. Late Arrival Policy

  • Arrivals 30 minutes to 1 hour late will incur a $25 late fee
  • Arrivals over 1 hour late will result in automatic cancellation and be marked as a no-show

8. No-Show Policy

A no-show is defined as:

  • Not showing up at all, or
  • Arriving more than 1 hour late

No-shows will be charged 50% of the total service price.

9. Cancellation Policy

  • Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the appointment
  • Cancellations within 24 hours are considered late

Late cancellations incur a 25% fee of the total service price.

10. Payment Authorization

By booking, you authorize Braid with Me to:

  • Charge deposits and applicable fees
  • Charge late fees, cancellation fees, and no-show fees
  • Process payments using your selected method

11. Agreement to Terms

By completing a booking, you confirm that:

  • You understand and accept all policies
  • You accept all financial responsibilities
  • You release Braid with Me from liability related to services

13. Platform Role Clarification

Braid with Me operates solely as a connection platform between clients and independent braiders.

We do not perform services and are not responsible for service outcomes.
